In the American League (AL), the stalwart Yankees will face an upstart and young Kansas City Royals team. This past week, The SUNY Geneseo Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation announced the creation of Women’s Flag Football as an official National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) sport for 2025.

This past Monday, Sept. 28, the Women’s soccer team played a hard game against Russell Sage, coming out of it with a 0-0 tie. With 274 spectators in attendance, the Geneseo Knights put on a good show and left it all out on the field. The Knights came out hot at the start of the first period with long-term possession of the ball, traveling up the field to gain yards before attempting to sink the ball into the net.
