Frugal Foodie: Pumpkin Spice Latte

Tired of having to go all the way to Starbucks or your nearest coffee shop just for a pumpkin spice latte? This is the perfect recipe to use to make every autumn day a cozy one, right at home! 

  • Ingredients

    • Milk – use dairy or non-dairy milk 

    • Pumpkin puree – use canned or make your own

    • Sugar – regular, brown sugar, syrup (simple or maple) or honey 

    • Vanilla and pumpkin pie spice 

    • Hot (or cold) coffee 

  • Directions 

    • Heat the milk, pumpkin puree, sugar, pumpkin pie spices and vanilla extract on the stove.

    • Mix the pumpkin spice milk with the coffee and divide it between mugs and, if preferred, add whipped cream 

    One sip at a time, you will continue to stay warm and cozy!
