Halloween Costumes 2021

Are you tired of figuring out a Halloween costume last minute? Do you typically wait until the day before to figure out an outfit, but then get stressed out because you ‘have nothing to wear’? With Halloween right around the corner, it’s time to get creative! Go digging in your closet for a DIY, ask a friend to borrow clothing or maybe buy something new! Here are just a few suggestions to spark some inspiration for this year’s spooky season!

Some basic or creative ideas:

  • Devil

    • This outfit can include a red outfit (dress, skirt and shirt or pants and shirt), devil ears (and tail, if desired) and a pitchfork.

  • Cheerleader

    • This outfit includes wearing a top that has a school name with a similar-colored sports skirt or skort, pom-poms and sneakers. If desired, someone may also choose to add glitter or some kind of decorative facial makeup.

  • Nerd

    • Someone who chooses to dress up as a nerd can wear plaid with suspenders on top. Then, box-shaped glasses with a piece of white tape in the center, along with a bow tie and white high socks.

  • Lifeguard

    • This costume is flexible. Someone can choose to either wear a ‘GUARD’ bathing-suit or may substitute it with a red bodysuit. Additionally, the person may choose to use a whistle and get red and white shorts.

  • Fairy

    • A fairy costume means that the individual can wear either a shiny dress or a flowy top and skirt. They can also get wings to match the color of their outfit. They may also opt for either elf ears or a tiara.

  • Clown

    • This funny costume uses a lot of bright-colored items. A want-to-be clown can sport bright-colored pajama pants, bright-colored high socks, large shoes, a bright t-shirt, a large and discolored tie, an oversized hat and a nose scrunch.

Have fun with this process! Go get creative, find some costume inspiration and make sure to have a happy and memorable ‘Halloweekend’!
