One offseason move for every NFL team: Part Three

Shedeur Sanders is the perfect choice for the Titans, bringing elite accuracy, leadership, and a franchise-changing presence.
Now that every National Football Conference (NFC) team has a move recommended for the offseason, it is time for the American Football Conference (AFC) to receive one. Here is one move the bottom eight teams of the AFC should make to better their roster for the 2025 season and beyond.
The Tennessee Titans:
The Tennessee Titans should draft their favorite quarterback prospect. The Titans finished dead last in record across all 32 National Football League (NFL) teams and were rewarded the number one pick. The Titans need to use their first overall pick on a quarterback. Giving Will Levis a try was a good idea, however, Levis is 5-16 in 21 starts and only threw one more touchdown than he did interceptions last season. The Titans are likely choosing between Shedur Sanders and Cam Ward with their number one pick.
The Cleveland Browns:
The Cleveland Browns should pick the quarterback that the Titans do not take in this year's draft. The Browns ended with the second-worst record in the NFL behind the Titans and now own the second pick in the NFL draft. The Browns had four different quarterbacks start a game for them this past season, and that is not an unusual statistic for Clevland. Unfortunately, the Browns will have to keep using draft picks on a quarterback until they finally find their franchise guy.
Las Vegas Raiders:
The Las Vegas Raiders should sign anybody they believe is an upcoming talent. The Raiders are in a very tough position as their roster is relatively weak, but they don’t have enough assets to strengthen their roster enough to compete. The Raiders do have the second most cap space in the NFL, but they also want to make sure that they don’t strengthen their roster enough to the point where they are in between competing and rebuilding. The Raiders should sign players that they think will help them in the long run, which will help them rebuild their roster so they can compete in the future.
The New England Patriots:
The New England Patriots should go all in this offseason. The Patriots definitely should not go for it all in the sense that they sign aging superstars, but instead, they should go for it all in constructing a roster that they think will be competitive for the present and the future. The Patriots have by far the most cap space in the NFL and own the rights to the fourth overall pick in the NFL draft. The Patriots already have their franchise quarterback in Drake Maye and can draft a superstar with the fourth pick since the top three picks will likely be quarterback-heavy. The Patriots can also use all of their cap space to help address the positions they do not address in the NFL draft to create a solid roster for next season, but more importantly, create a core for a roster that will only get stronger over time.
The Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jacksonville Jaguars should draft a defensive back in the NFL draft. The Jaguars own the fifth pick in the NFL draft, and just like the Patriots, the Jaguars will likely benefit from the first three picks being quarterback-heavy. The Jaguars have a legitimate chance of being the first team to draft a defensive player in this year's draft, and that would be huge for a team that struggled mightily on that side of the ball last season.
The New York Jets:
The New York Jets should pursue a quarterback in the trade market this offseason. The Jets can’t catch a break. The Jets had one of the more complete rosters in the NFL last season and just fell flat from start to finish. Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers will almost certainly not be on the team next season, but the Jets roster is too good to start a backup quarterback. With that being said, there are not many good quarterbacks on the trade market, and the Jets will probably have to overpay a team just so they can compete next season.
The Miami Dolphins:
The Miami Dolphins should run it back this offseason. It sounds bizarre, as the Dolphins finished with a losing record last season, but it is all they can do. The Dolphins are negative in cap space and own the thirteenth pick in the NFL draft, which is not anything that is going to drastically improve their roster for the present day. The Dolphins should draft the best available player with the thirteenth pick and do their best to compete this upcoming season. The Dolphins did go 6-3 in their final nine games after the team started to get healthy in the second half of the NFL season.
The Indianapolis Colts:
The Indianapolis Colts should draft a tight end this offseason. The Colts should start to rely on a run game between quarterback Anthony Richardson and running back Jonathan Taylor, and drafting a tight end would not only help the team block better on run plays but also offer a safety valve for Richardson to lean on.
The bottom eight teams in the AFC are the perfect mix of teams in a rebuild and good teams that just missed out on the playoffs last season. The top eight teams in the AFC will be the fourth and final part of one move every NFL team should make this offseason.
