Crickets re-opens

Geneseo staple Crickets had a grand re-opening recently after moving from Main Street to Center Street. Crickets has been a staple restaurant in Geneseo for years, with students frequenting their quaint café for years.

Originally, Cricket’s was located on 51 Main St., but moved with intentions to partner with the local businesses on Center St. Business partnerships within the community increase revenue for everyone, and it also allows Geneseo to continue to have a thriving business district and serve students and town residents alike.

Crickets has an updated menu that can be viewed on their website, which includes a variety of items: for drinks, Cricket’s offers a variety of coffees, teas, and hot chocolates. In addition, Cricket’s offers smoothies and smoothie bowls for customers looking for their daily fruit and vegetable intake.

For breakfast, Crickets has several options, including but not limited to bagels, cinnamon toast, avocado toast, and more. Other breakfast options include egg sandwiches of varying types. Lunch items include various wraps, melts, soups, and salads. Lastly, there are a variety of baked goods such as a strawberry Nutella croissant, a granola bowl, and overnight oats, among others.

Crickets is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m daily. Google reviews gives Crickets 4.6 out of 5 stars; many of the written reviews are highly positive, lauding the good food, good staff, and good vibes that Crickets has to offer.
