Frugal Foodie: No-bake peanut butter cookies

Often after a nice lunch or dinner, a little sweet treat is necessary. These no-bake peanut butter cookies are perfect for when you’re craving something sweet but do not feel like turning on your oven. 

Ingredients:

  • ¾ cup peanut butter 

  • ⅓ cup brown sugar 

  • ¼ cup butter 

  • ¼ cup milk 

  • 1 ¾ cups rolled oats

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1: Heat peanut butter, brown sugar, butter, and milk in a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat. Stir consistently until fully combined. 

Step 2: Pour oats and vanilla into the medium saucepan and stir. Scoop the mixture into tablespoon-sized sections and flatten them on parchment paper. Place in the refrigerator. 

Step 3: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, and enjoy!
