Scorpio season horoscopes

Welcome back to yet another zodiac article from yours truly! Because we caught up to Scorpio season last year when I first started writing zodiac articles, I decided to take a different approach to Scorpio season—instead of giving a general overview of this astrological sign and what its peak might mean for Scorpios and non-Scorpios alike, I wanted to give a sign-by-sign horoscope to guide you through the month. Please keep in mind that I am, obviously, an undergraduate English major whose knowledge of astrology is mediocre at best. Happy Scorpio season!

Aries: As Scorpio and Aries are both ruled by the planet Mars, you can expect an extra surge of your personal power this Scorpio season, Aries—Scorpio season is a season of confidence, courage, and cunning life moves, and as a fire sign, you are likely familiar with all of these elements. However, keep in mind that on Oct. 29, your ruling planet Mars enters retrograde, meaning that the energy of Mars will be turned inwards and slow down its influence.

Taurus: As the fixed earth sign of the zodiac, this Scorpio’s season will be particularly interesting for you, Taurus, during the total lunar eclipse on Nov. 8. Know that the lunar eclipse has the power to reveal energy that might help you complete a certain journey or shift course in your life right now.

Gemini: This season’s lunar eclipse, as a period that encourages change and transformation, is sure to appeal to the dynamic and ever-evolving energy that you embody, Gemini. Paired with the peak of the Northern Taurids meteor shower on Nov. 12, right now is a time for you to make some deep reflections about where you are right now—are you satisfied with the direction and motion of your life? Are you looking for a shift?

Cancer: As a water sign, Scorpio season is aligned with many of your dominant traits, Cancer, though the common associations given to Scorpio personalities are very different from your own. Sensitive and sweet, you have the emotional side that Scorpios tend to hide; now is a time to appreciate and nurture your softer side, but ensure that you are capitalizing on the confidence and power associated with Scorpios.

Leo: Though your ruling planet is the sun, Mars represents sex, aggression, and passion—all features that are strongly correlated to the personality traits and values of most Leos. Mars retrograde is likely, then, to have an impact on your focus and drive this month. Remember that Scorpio season is all about exercising direct action, and that you still have the potential for tapping into this action when the odds seem to be stacked against you!

Virgo: As Scorpio season and its coincidence with the Nov. 8 lunar eclipse urges you to consider powerful shifts your life, remember that it is okay to surrender and let the universe take control for a little while, Virgo. While you might sometimes want to micro-manage every element of your life and Scorpio season encourages that level of authority, remember to let the courage of Scorpio season guide you towards some of the deeper reflection and transformation.

Libra: Your season is over, Libra, and the transition into Scorpio season can sometimes be a bumpy one; that being said, this does not mean that you can’t keep some of that power in your corner during this shift. Lucky for you, the total lunar eclipse on Nov. 8 will help guide you through this change, revealing the change and energy you need to shift course into a season of accomplishing some of the growth and transformation that you will be able to move towards in this new chapter of your life. Keep your head up and remember that while you might feel like you’re no longer in your element, Scorpio season is about owning where you’re at, wherever you’re at!

Scorpio: Though the retrograde in Mars starting on Oct. 29 is one to watch out for, there’s no doubt that your drive can get you through that shift, as well as the transformation of Nov. 8’s lunar eclipse. Lunar occulations and opposition in Uranus on Nov. 9 indicate a time for you to tap into supernatural and deep spiritual energy, and the peak of the Northern Taurid meteor shower on Nov. 12 encourages deep internal reflection during this new year of you.

Sagittarius: As your season approaches, you might start to feel an interesting mix of apprehension and dread as Mars enters retrograde on Oct. 29; Scorpios and Sagittariuses typically emulate pretty different traits and energies, it makes sense for your fire and passion to be heightened right now, while your positivity and can-do attitude may feel slightly dimmed. Take some time during the lunar eclipse on Nov. 8 and the peak of the Northern Taurid meteor shower on Nov. 12 to deeply reflect on your life and well-being as we approach your season of power.

Capricorn: Scorpio season, a time of tapping into passion, power, and drive, are all elements of your sign that you are feeling especially connected to right now, Capricorn. While Mars retrograde might dampen this fire a smidge, this could be ameliorated by some careful contemplation during Nov. 8’s lunar eclipse. Though this emotional reflection is one that you are known to be somewhat resistant to, it’s important to note that this could be the solution to whatever blockages you might experience in your power this season.

Aquarius: Aquarius, the defining feature of your Scorpio season all comes down to the Nov. 9 lunar occultations and opposition in your ruling planet, Uranus. While your energy is usually more openly creative and free flowing, this opposition encourages you to get in touch with the mysterious, supernatural, and secretive side of the Aquarius coin.

Pisces: Last, but certainly not least, this Scorpio season is a great time for you to exercise some of your big ideas, Pisces. While Mars retrograde on Oct. 29 might shift some of this focus, some deeper, emotional reflection (as you are prone to tap into) during the Nov. 8 lunar eclipse and Nov. 12 peak of the Northern Taurids meteor shower will be sure to assist you in continuing to keep this creative energy flowing.
